Every New Year, most of us attempt to set a New Year’s Resolution, and swear to ourselves that we are going to crush our goals and intentions for the year. But how many of you actually work towards and achieve the goals you set for yourself after January? The New Year’s Resolution Guilt is real! Don’t feel bad if you struggle with goal setting and achieving goals, most people struggle just like you do. The reason is simple: setting a goal is not enough. You need an action plan, accountability and crystals!
That’s where crystals come in. Crystals can support us by aiding in the development of new behaviors and routines. Each crystal has a unique energy or vibrational frequency, that when tapped into, helps to support you in any way that you wish. When you set an intention into a crystal, it becomes programmed to manifesting that intention. Looking at or gazing at your crystal daily, keeping it with you throughout the day, or holding it once a day is all you need to do to support achieving your goal.
Why? Because every time you interact with your programmed crystal, you are reminded of your intention and action plan. This reminder also holds you accountable for your goals, and causes you to assess your progress and do the work you need in order to get the results you want. Citrine is a powerful crystal for goal setting because it stimulates the Solar Plexus Chakra. Your Solar Plexus Chakra is the key to manifesting your goals. The Solar Plexus Chakra is your central chakra, the center of your personal power, control and freedom. The Solar Plexus Chakra is the manifestation gateway in the body, and when balanced and activated, it helps you accomplish anything you set your mind to.
Citrine helps to ground and dissipate negative energy, and transforms negative thoughts and feelings into positive ones. Citrine inspires creativity and imagination, helping you to transform your dreams and ideas into reality.
Malachite is also a powerful crystal for manifesting your goals because it is considered the “Stone of Transformation.” Malachite has a powerful energy that removes unnecessary blockages in your Heart Chakra, and eliminates any fear, doubt and procrastination. Malachite enhances your willpower, making it easier for you to take action and make changes. Malachite inspires you to take calculated risks and positive action towards achieving your goals.
Your Crystal Practice
For this Crystal Goal Setting Practice, you’ll need 1 Citrine crystal, 1 Malachite crystal, cleansing tools of your choice and paper and pen. There is a worksheet to go with this crystal practice, which you can download here
- Cleanse your crystals with Sage or Palo Santo, or your choice of cleansing tools. Remember, do not use water to cleanse Malachite
- Hold your Citrine crystal to your Solar Plexus Chakra. Spend a few moments connecting with your crystal
- Visualize the Citrine crystalline energy filling your Solar Plexus Chakra, cleansing and activating your Solar Plexus Chakra. Imagine that the Citrine is removing all negativity and obstacles
- Think about the goals that you want to accomplish this year. What do you want to accomplish first?
- Think of all the steps you might need to take to accomplish your goal. Visualize yourself accomplishing your goal
- Write down your goals and action plan, or steps that you brainstormed. When writing your goals, write it as an intention or positive affirmation.
- Next, hold your Malachite crystal to your Heart Chakra. Spend a few moments connecting with your crystal
- Think of your goal and set your intention to manifest your goal into your Malachite crystal
- Work with Malachite and Citrine daily to support you while working towards achieving your goal. You can place the paper with your intention and action plan underneath your Malachite crystal and leave it on your desk or end table, somewhere you will see it daily. You can keep Malachite and Citrine with you throughout the day, use Citrine and Malachite in a grid, or keep Malachite and Citrine somewhere close so that you can see it daily and be reminded of your intention and the steps you need to take in order to achieve your goal.
- Check in with yourself frequently, you can repeat the process whenever you feel like you need to make adjustments to your goal or action plan.
